borneo

hey all!
i was gonna upload some pics of the orangutans, but it doesn't seem to be working.
so i'm just gonna give you a brief update!
i came to sandakan yesterday night. it was hot. it smelled like fish. i was the only white person in the whole town. i was the only person at the hostel.
but it's cool! =) i like it. people are so friendly. so it's not like you feel scared walking the street. no they are just curious! they all say hi, and smile and look at you. and the guy at the hostel is just soo nice. the hostel is awesome, very fresh and clean. everything here is sooo cheap. i love it. it's perfect.
the fish smell i realized comes from the store next to the hostel. a fish store. that sells dried fish, and even dried seahorses. no wonder it smells like aquarium in the whole building.
i went to sepilok today, and saw the orangutans. only three of them, but they were cute. they ate their bananas and swinged in the ropes. awesome animals.
i met nice people there too, this irish guy came with me back to stay at my hostel. that's good, gives me some company. not in the same room, not that kind of company, don't get me wrong =P he's just cool to hang with. we had dinner and talked and took a walk around town.
he's leaving for kota kinabalu tomorrow i think, and i'm going down for a trip at this cave. and after that i'm off to semporna. well, i've gotta take a shower. i am so sweaty. it's not sunny, but it's humid. like sitting in a sauna. the sweat just drips non stop.
i like borneo though, it's gonna be a good three weeks.
take care you all, and i will talk to you later <3

L.A life

tonight tanya had a friend over, steven. the three of us had indian food and rented a movie, stepbrothers with will ferrell. i usually don't like talking about celebraties and such, but i thought i should tell them about the time in l.a that i went to will ferrells house. his wife is swedish and their oldest son goes to the same school as my kid in l.a so we ended up talking and i was invited for a cup of coffee at his house.
anyhow, it's so funny to tell people about some stuff i did in the states. they're all like: whaaat?!
cause i'm shy, i don't talk that much with people i don't know and i'm very mellow. so when i mention things like will ferrell, meeting that guy from superbad at the cha cha lounge, going to the playboymansion people are just like, you did whaat?
it's cool though. i like to be mellow and then all of a sudden just say random things like that. :)

now, for those of you who don't know, this is the grotto. the famous pool at the playboy mansion. this is were i spent most my time when i was there in july last year at the 70's party.
the drinks were plenty and free and i got drunk of my ass in there. i hate being drunk and i rearly drink til i get wasted but this time, woah. the drinks and the superhot water in the grotto just shot straight to my head!

i was waaasted. and it was so much fun. it was all cool and mellow outside the grotto, like a regular fancy party. but inside the grotto it was naked, nasty and sexy, let me tell you that. hell yeah ;) i didn't do much in there with anyone though, i had my own playmate whom i drove over to in the middle of the night, still pretty wasted... but let's not think about that now...

spank spank!

åre

this winter had been awesome! the best winter in a loong time. being back in sweden has been way better than i thought it would be, i was so tired of snow when i left sweden back in january 2007, but now i'm totally in love with it!
when it's cold and crisp and the snow makes that cozy squeeky sound when you walk on it, that's perfect winter weather. love love love it. i've been lucky enough to have daniel teach me how to snowboard too, it's so much fun. i'll get myself a board for the upcoming snowseason next winter.

here are some pics of this winter

the slopes in åre

cute little trolley train or something. reminds me of san francisco

here i am, preparing myself to go down the slope. i was a chicken at first in the slope, but then i kinda got the hang of it and did pretty good if i can say it myself ;P

i thought i had every right to be a chicken though, this slope is craazy steep!

i enjoyed the view up there though

daniel is coming to my rescue probably, he had to take his board of a couple times and walk up to me and help me get down properly
